The inaugural Richard Petty Charity Golf Classic will be held this fall at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, host facility for the PGA TOUR’s Wyndham Championship. Festivities begin Tuesday evening with a VIP dinner and silent auction experience at the luxurious Grandover Resort and Spa. Participants then hit the links Wednesday morning for a day of golf and fun with NASCAR drivers and personalities. All event proceeds will benefit two charitable organizations: Victory Junction Gang Camp and Paralyzed Veterans of America. Message from Richard: “The Petty Family Foundation is grounded in our strong belief in family and helping others. The Richard Petty Charity Golf Classic was created to enrich the lives and families of those affected by serious illness and injury through the support and generosity of members of their communities. With your engagement and financial assistance, we will continue to impact the lives of numerous children with chronic illnesses attending the Victory Junction Gang Camp. Your contributions will advance the interests of the Paralyzed Veterans of America; veterans of the armed forces who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction in the line of duty. All proceeds from the event will benefit these organizations, creating new programs and opportunities for those in need of our help. On behalf of the entire Petty family, thank you for your generous support and participation in the Richard Petty Charity Golf Classic.” Plans for this year's tournament are in full swing and sponsorship opportunities are available:
