For the 2nd consecutive year, the Petty Family Foundation will be participating in the Angels Among Us 5K & Family Fun Walk benefiting the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University Hospital on April 30, 2011 and would like you to join our group Team Lynda Petty. I have finished my treatment and am very thankful to the staff at Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center for the professional help and the gracious hospitality they showed me during my time there. We need people like you to join our team in support of the great work they do for those in need.
Unfortunately, cancer will likely affect someone we love. Think about the ways cancer has impacted you and those around you. The money we raise will go to help improve a patient's quality of life while providing financial assistance in the quest to find a cure. This is a time to share with your family and loved ones as we come together for a good cause. Last year everyone had a great experience and I hope to share it with you this year. We need your support, so please do anything you can, join our team, register as an individual or make a donation on our behalf.
