The Petty Family Foundation is giving back after firefighters helped respond to a 2-alarm fire at Richard Petty’s Garage.
Richard Petty was there to give a check for $1,000 to the Level Cross Fire Department as a “thank you.” The firefighters’ efforts helped reduce the damage at the garage to minimal. No trophies, cars, or other valuables were lost in the fire.
Shannon Newman, Director of Development for the Petty Family Foundation said, “This donation is a way for the Petty Family to demonstrate their appreciation and support for our community.
