PFF Christmas Toy Drive
LEVEL CROSS — This year’s Christmas Cruise-In will benefit kids in need and feature two big name celebrities.
On Saturday, Dec. 10, Petty’s Garage and Petty Family Foundation will host a Christmas Cruise-In at their facility, 311 Branson Mill Road, Randleman, featuring the big man in red, Santa Claus, and the big man in black, Richard Petty. The event takes place from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Anyone can cruise in and show off their car, but participants are encouraged not to come empty-handed. “Because the holidays are just around the corner, Petty Family Foundation is asking everyone to bring a new, unwrapped toy that we can donate to kids in our area, so that their Christmas will be more special,” said Rebecca Moffitt, executive director of Petty Family Foundation. “Of course, Petty Family Foundation will accept cash donations that can be used to purchase even more toys.”
Santa will be there from 9-11 a.m. “The King,” Richard Petty, will sign autographs from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. There will be free tours of the Petty museum and plenty of special cars on display in Petty’s Garage.
“We’ll have the SEMA Cares Jeep on display, which we built to be auctioned off in April, with all proceeds going to Victory Junction,” said Russ Stellfox, CEO of Petty’s Garage. “There will also be several other SEMA cars on display, along with special charity cars that will be auctioned off on National TV later this year.”
